Long, long time, since the last pair of socks was finished. Much more longer, since I started them.
Honey Bee
An experiment - toe-up socks for my partner. Until now no short row heel has really fit on his feet because he has a very high instep. So I modified a short row heel and it seems to work rather well, but no real test so far because it's just too warm for woolen socks.
Ferse / heel
The idea it's easier to knit fitting toe-up socks with correct foot lenght because it's easier to try on: I'm not sure I subscribe to this. I have the tendency to make those socks a tad longer than what would be ideal because I find it much harder to estimate the length of the heel than of the toe. And that it's much easier to try on a nearly finished "conventional" sock is a no-brainer.
Zöpfe / cables
The cable pattern was made "on the fly" - the arrangement is not ideal but it looks nice.
