Sometimes I have little attacks of crochet frenzy - very convinient when there is a pattern just around that moment. Even more convinient when I find a matching yarn in my stash.

The phrase "matching yarn" isn't to take too literal. It is matching insofar it is great for crocheting (I can really recommend this yarn!) and I had a sufficient amount in my stash. Gauge was way off, but who thinks that's important?

I would never have thought I'd do this, but I made a wetmop.

My excuse: I needed one made from cotton because I should not use microfibre on the oiled parquett. And I have not found them in the shops.

Last year I crocheted a cardigan for my niece. I did some miscalculation on yarn needed and then my daughter told me, how much she liked the colour. This made obvious I could not bring back the leftover but make something for her from it.

This is a very quick project - one days worth of commuting (35 minutes each turn) plus one evening in kindergarten where we talked about various things and it was done.

I'm in an eternal fight with my daughter's hair. She wants to let them grow ("down to the floor, mama") but they are so thin they withstand all ways of tying them back.

Mini-Kopftuch / Little Hairscarf

In the summer I hope for this hairscarf (and maybe more of them - depends on how it works).

On Ravelry there is a group about test knitting - if you look for someone to try your pattern or if you'd like to be the guinea pig.

These things are somewhat addictive - after the first phone cozy I just had to make more. They are very good to try new patterns and techniques.

And they are a good way to use up some sockyarn leftovers.
