The last project I finished in 2007.

Usually I don't get into this "dust catcher" stuff too much, but when I first saw this cute ocotpus I just couldn't resist making one. Luckily I have two children ... By the way, this one was caught by my daughter, which made my son immediately demanding his own.

But there are alternatives. This way the fingers are still moveable and sensitive and yet there is a little warmth.

Significant smaller, than I had expected, but just so in a usable size. Would it have grown even smaller, my daughter would have luckily added it to her toy shop.

That's what you get, if you don't felt a swatch. But this kind of thrill is part of the felting fun for me.

After finishing my Purse , there was still a little more than one ball of Cork left over. 

For throwing away it was too much, but what can you do with that amount? As the yarn has a rather good yardage, a collar was a option. And my partner said, this colour would go well with his new leather jacket.

Said, searched, pattern found.

Better said: little bag. It's just big enough for one ball of sock yarn. Or the minimal equipment I carry around: portemonnaie, mobile phone, bunch of keys. Perfect.

For years I've some leftover of cotton-alpaca. Why I originally bought this stuff, I don't remember. Probably because it was cheap, it must have been during my student days. I made from this a sleeping bag for my children and a Tivoli - the first got lot's of use, the latter lays mostly on the shelf because it's a little itchy. Harly believable given the fibers, but something just doesn't work out.

All in all there were 4 skeins (about 200 g) left and I had no idea what to do.

Until I found shopping bags.

And again a scarf that my daughter claimed to be hers. The little lady can be a very taking person in these things, but we were able to agree I can borrow it every now and then. The scarf has a perfect sore-throat-length.

Then there was the leftover from the periwinkle socks. And the pattern for a scarf, that I had on my list for quite some time.

The perfect chance to combine both. And as the colourway matches perfectly the new jackets of my daughters it was soon clear, to whom it will belong.

To a crocheted cardigan you really need a matching cap.

At least that's what my niece thought, when she saw my daughter's cap.

Knapp ein ganzes Knäuel blieb vom Lutea Lace Shoulder Shell übrig. Die Häkelkappe vom letzten Jahr war ein Riesenerfolg, leider ist sie mittlerweile zu klein.

Was lag also näher, als nochmal so eine Kappe zu machen. Töchterchen war am wichtigsten, dass wieder eine Blume dran ist. Und daher kommt auch der Name für die Kappe - es gibt eine Rose diesen Namens und dieser Farbe und an der Kappe sind auch drei Rosen. Und die Farbe des Garnes heißt auch Kardinal. Das passt doch zusammen.
